I had so much fun on the Martha Stewart show...
I was terribly nervous! On my first appearance in April 2007 my shaky hands prove it,
but the second visit in October 2007 was almost a breeze!

Everyone always has two questions: How did it happen? and How was Martha?
One of the producers from the show called me to talk about creating a simple project for the show,
after seeing my work on my website. I was over the moon!!! I made a few different nearly no-sew projects
and sent them off to NYC.... that's it! After we set the date, I talked with the producer to get all
the steps ironed out and "swap outs" ready to make the project that ultimately takes about an hour,
look like we make it in just 10 minutes! HA! Everyone at the show was incredibly good at their jobs...
I met so many creative and kind people while I was in the studio and office,
and I'm happy to report Martha was very friendly. We didn't have much interaction off camera,
but during the commercial breaks she was very complementary of my work and my business.
We talked about heritage toys, and the quality of craft. I will never forget when Martha Stewart
called my work "instant heirlooms". What could be better that that?!
